Home / Walk & Roll for Muscular Dystrophy Canada Local Planning Committee
Muscular Dystrophy Canada is currently recruiting volunteers to join our Walk & Roll for Muscular Dystrophy Canada Local Planning Committees for each of our in-person events.
The Walk & Roll is Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s signature event where participants from across Canada raise much-needed funds to support programs and services, advocacy and advance research, as well as raise awareness of neuromuscular disorders.
The Walk & Roll for Muscular Dystrophy Canada brings together the neuromuscular community, creating an opportunity to come together at a fun, accessible event all while raising much needed funds.
In collaboration with Muscular Dystrophy Canada staff and other volunteers, we’re looking for persons to execute local Walk & Roll for Muscular Dystrophy Canada events. Duties include coordinating logistics; participating on the day of the event; and recruiting and supporting participants and volunteers. A key role will be to identify opportunities to grow the event through local media, sponsorship and donors.
