Buck 4 Luck

Shamrocks and people with a neuromuscular disorder have one thing in common.

Both have gene mutations. Over time, people with neuromuscular disorders may lose the ability to walk, speak and ultimately breathe. For some, the disorder is fatal. There is presently no cure or effective treatments.

“Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s support has been tremendous—both emotionally and financially. We have been able to acquire life saving equipment with their help. Without this help, Van would be hospitalized for weeks at a time. With your support, Muscular Dystrophy Canada provides our family with real hope for the future—that someday, our child won’t struggle to breathe due to weak muscles and that he might feel the weight of his own body touch the ground as he takes his first steps.”

– Van’s Mom

Buy a shamrock at Lowe’s Canada and other participating businesses from February 17th to March 17th, and provide support and resources to Van, and others affected by neuromuscular disorders, while we search relentlessly for a cure!
